Central Coast Salish: The term commonly used to refer to the closely related groups of aboriginal cultures and languages living in and around the Fraser River and the Gulf of Georgia in Canada. The languages spoken by the Central Coast Salish include Halq'eméylem, Squamish, Northern Straits Salish, Nooksack, and Lummi.
