Refers to the condition when more than one device shares the same axis. Typically found in the speaker industry where the horn driver is mounted on the same axis as the woofer driver. The drivers are usually time aligned as well. A speaker like this reproduces sound the most natural way possible, with all of the frequencies coming form the same point in space.
